What is a subprocessor
A subprocessor is a third party we engage to process data on our behalf in order to provide the Taskclan platform. Each subprocessor is bound by contractual terms requiring appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards, consistent with our Data Processing & Protection Policy.
Current subprocessors
The table below lists the primary subprocessors we rely on. Specifics may vary by product and plan.
| Subprocessor | Purpose | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud hosting provider (application dynos) | Application hosting & compute | United States |
| Supabase | Managed database & authentication | Canada (ca-central-1) |
| Cloudflare (incl. R2) | CDN, network security & object storage | Global edge |
| Model inference providers | AI model inference (routed via T1) | United States / Global |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery | United States |
| Tawk.to | Live chat support | United States / EU |
| Payment processors | Billing & payments | United States / Global |
Model inference may be served by leading open and proprietary providers selected by our routing layer; those providers process requests under terms restricting training on your data.
Notification of changes
As our platform evolves we may add or replace subprocessors. We keep this page current and, for enterprise customers under contract, provide advance notice of material changes where required by our agreement.
Objecting to a subprocessor
If you have a contract with us that provides objection rights, you may object to a new subprocessor on reasonable data-protection grounds by contacting hello@taskclan.com. We’ll work with you in good faith to address the concern.
